OFSTED
In June
2004, an Inspection of the Nursery Education at St.
Michael's School was carried out by
OFSTED. The purpose of such inspections is to assure government,
parents and the public that the nursery education for funded three
and four year old children is of an acceptable provision. The
inspection looked at the education across the Foundation Stage, in
the Nursery and Reception classes.
St. Michael's was delighted to
receive a very good report in all areas, with no significant
weaknesses. The inspection found that the provision of education is
acceptable and is of high quality with children making good progress
towards the early learning goals.
