|
1947 |
In view of the probable changes in the Education System of the Country resulting in the 1944 Bill, the Education Department in Southend was consulted as to the advisability of continuing St. Michael's as a Day and Boarding School, with pupils up to the age of 18 years, and as to what type of school would best serve the District. On the advice of the local Education Department, the Governing Body (Chapter of O.H.P.) decided to continue the school as a Day Preparatory School. |
|
