Providing a first-class education and inspiring a love of learning whilst emphasising traditional values since 1922.

“Non quis, sed quid” – not who (you are) but what (you are)

Mr James Mobbs

Welcome from the Headmaster

The children benefit from a stimulating and balanced curriculum delivered by dedicated, professional and enthusiastic teachers who utilise the very latest teaching methods hand in hand with traditional methods and values. The children are challenged and supported in equal measure and their academic, sporting and extra-curricular achievements are celebrated. The pastoral care is second to none and the children have a safe and secure environment in which to flourish. Christian values underpin everything and there is a strong partnership between teachers and parents. We have an incredibly supportive Teacher Parent Association (S.M.S.A.) and an experienced Governing Body who take an active interest in the life at St. Michael’s.

I hope that this will encourage you to visit and I look forward to meeting you and giving you the opportunity to see St. Michael’s for yourself; a school of which I am proud to be Headmaster.
