PASTORAL CARE

The School’s Christian ethos is at the heart of our approach to pastoral care. We expect all children to contribute to the school community by considering the needs of others and understanding the importance of giving and receiving. High standards of manners and behaviour are reinforced through Chapel, assemblies and the curriculum.

The pastoral team is led by the Pastoral Director who works closely with the Headmaster, Deputy Head, Head of Pre-Prep, Foundation Stage Co-Ordinator and SENDCo.

Form tutors monitor the progress, development, and well-being of each pupil under their care so that each child feels they can discuss any issues they might have with someone who knows them. Our Housekeepers also provide a friendly face and listening ear to any of our pupils who may feel the need to speak to someone other than their form tutor.

We firmly believe that each child should feel that they matter and is cared for as an individual.

“I feel very lucky and blessed to be able to send my two children to such a wonderful school. Every day they want to go to school. They love every minute!”
